Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy

This policy applies to Rateio (“the Company”), a UK-based online platform operating a workplace review directory that allows individuals to leave anonymous reviews of their employers.
This policy is written in accordance with UK law and best practice.
Policy Statement
The Company is committed to conducting its business ethically, transparently, and in compliance with all applicable laws, including the Bribery Act 2010. We operate a neutral, independent workplace review platform and have zero tolerance for bribery or corruption in any form.
Scope
This policy applies to:
- Directors and officers
- Employees and contractors
- Consultants, agents, and suppliers
- Any third party acting on behalf of the Company
What is Bribery and Corruption
Bribery is the offering, giving, requesting, or receiving of an inducement or reward to influence behaviour improperly.
Corruption includes abuse of entrusted power for private gain.
Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited:
- Offering or accepting bribes, facilitation payments, or kickbacks
- Influencing review moderation, rankings, visibility, removal, or employer responses in exchange for payment or benefit
- Accepting gifts, hospitality, or incentives that could compromise impartiality
- Manipulating or suppressing reviews in return for financial or commercial advantage
Gifts and Hospitality
Modest hospitality may be accepted only where:
- It is reasonable and proportionate
- It is not intended to influence business decisions
- It does not affect the independence of the platform
Cash or cash equivalents are never permitted.
Responsibilities
All covered persons must:
- Act honestly and with integrity
- Avoid conflicts of interest
- Report suspected bribery or corruption immediately

The Company will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises concerns in good faith.
Breach of Policy
Breaches of this policy may result in:
- Disciplinary action
- Termination of contracts
- Reporting to relevant authorities
