Employer Response Policy

This policy applies to Rateio (“the Company”), a UK-based online platform operating a workplace review directory that allows individuals to leave anonymous reviews of their employers.

This policy is written in accordance with UK law and best practice.

Right to Respond

Employers listed on Rateio may publish a response to reviews relating to their organisation.

Responses are intended to:

  • Provide context
  • Address concerns
  • Explain actions taken

Response Guidelines

Employer responses must:

  • Be professional and factual
  • Avoid abusive, threatening, or dismissive language
  • Not attempt to identify or retaliate against reviewers
  • Not include personal data or confidential information

Prohibited Employer Conduct

Employers must not:

  • Attempt to identify anonymous reviewers
  • Pressure Rateio to remove lawful reviews
  • Offer incentives for review removal or alteration
  • Use responses to intimidate or harass

Moderation of Responses

Rateio reserves the right to moderate, amend, or remove employer responses that breach this policy or applicable law.
